" The first day Roberta et Michael
drove me around the city and the campus. I was able to discover
what an American campus is and I could appreciate its quality (now
I know where the thousands of dollars that students pay for their
studies are going). I was also amazed with the business centered
around the university, its sports teams and its mascott: the Beaver.
Most of all, I realized that what we see in hollywoodian movies
is not that exagerated. Actually, during the first month or so,
I had the impression that I was living in a movie.
<< A photo of the campus taken during last spring;
the campus is indeed ideal for studying and we can find there all
the comfort we would ever need. (picture: Marie)
<< OSU BookStore: it is the store where you can
to find anything a student would ever need, from an OSU calendar to
Beavers panties. It's a bit more expensive than elsewhere, but at least
it's in fashion (to be in fashion here: to have an bright orange sweat-shirt
with OSU written on it, and pens and schoolbooks orange and black with
the sloggan "Go Beavs!!"). On the photo: the BookStore's clothes
alley, which dominant colors are black and orange of course. In the
basement there is a real book store (yes, we do work also). (picture:
