News from US

Back to home page: here.

August 8th, 2002 - (old home page) As you can see, I made it!! Now there are two versions of the BookBin Adventure, one in english and one in french. Actually this change is part of a wider "reconstruction" of the site, and if you observe well, you can notice that several graphics have changed, as well as some pages.
The photos page is still improving slowly, mainly because now the photos that I have to put on the site are either photos of trips that I didn't take (so I it makes it difficult for me to write comments accurately) or they are photos that I don't have... So I am thinking about replacing these void pages with something else or maybe simply removing them. Another improvement of the site is the new page of links, including links toward my friends' personal sites and links to sites that I find interesting, funny, or even useful.
I am also hoping to add other pages soon to nadglobtrotter.com that wouldn't have anything to do with the Bookbin Adventure, which will be a "souvenir" site from now on. Speaking of that, if you have any souvenirs about this amazing 2001-2002 OSU year to share, don't hesitate to contact me and I'd be glad to find a place for it on the site.
Well folks, enjoy this "renewed" BookBin site! For any requests, let me know via the contact page. Have fun!!!

August 1st, 2002 - Here it is!! The new version of the BookBin site. It was a lot of work, but I made it.. yet I'm not sure YOU will see lots of differences. Well, at least there was some improvement. Concerning myself and my life in the US, well, nothing much changed since the beginning of the vacation: I am now leaving in Portland with Pete, and I am planning to go back to France - actually I am not only planning, but I AM coming back to France - on September the 7th. Ah yes there are big news: I am accepted for an interview for the DESS I applied to. YES!!!! The interview will be between the 9th and the 11th of September, so actually I'll be back in France right in time for it. If I success in the interview - hopefully - I'll be in Nanterre (suburb of Paris) until may 2003, studying the "Economics and Policies of New Energies". Then I'll have to find a internship, and I am hoping to find one in Portland, to be with Pete again, unless he already moved to France.
